I think one of the most important and influential things we can do as artists is to use our craft and our voice to better this world.
In 2009, I founded the organization The Emancipation of Artemis, a collaborative effort of photographers and artists united to work toward the end of violence against women. It may seem like a lofty goal and improbable dream, but everything we do impacts the state of the world, no matter how large or small. I am also happy to be a co-founder of Love Light Prints, an organization birthed from the kind soul of one of my dear friends, Natalie Manjerovic.
